Reception staff were friendly and very understanding when we could not make our check in date and came a day later.

Liked location -- close to town. Cheap price Place was old and tired. Closing reception at 5 pm (that I was not aware of) is way too early for last check in. Host mentioned they contacted me by hotmail about this on the day, but when travelling do not have access to email. Room faced the main road -- was very noisy at night even with window closed, so did not get much sleep.

Great location (e.g. near to Cuba Mall). Inexpensive to stay. Our family room with en suite seemed large and appeared clean. Its kitchenette was supplied with pots, etc. Good TV. Good shower. We could leave a window open without a noise issue. But occasionally we could hear the toilet next door. There was a noticeable smell (carpet?) in the corridors (etc) masked by a sprayed scent. Can feel "enclosed" in the corridors and narrow stairway. Make sure you know the emergency exit points. Tourists share space with longer term residents.

When I booked I was not told that you had to book a car park so when we arrived we had to park 500m down the road in a paid car parking building. The room was very small and the bunk bed creaked every time one of us moved. There was only one working bathroom for the entire floor and I had to pay a key bond upon arrival which I also was not told about when I booked via Expedia

Interesting place with a unique smell! For the price it was good and would probably stay again. Great location. Needs repair and a good scrubbing!

Was a great place to stay. Staff were nice and helpful. If you cant sleep with alot of noise this is not the place for you.

It was close to the ferry which is why I booked it. It has definitely been affected by COvid restrictions which means it is understaffed. It’s definitely an old building.

I feel that the inside of the building could be maintained better. Wall paper are pealing and it looks old and not maintained. I expected more. It is not a place where I would recommend a family to stay, it caters more for young single people and backpackers. Parking on site is expensive.

t was when the coronavirus pandemic was ramping up so I don't think this stay was necessarily representative. The building is in terrible condition but I have stayed here before and I would again.
