I had a good bathroom with good lighting and a good shower door so no water leaking out onto the floor which can often happen in hotels. The breakfast was good. So I enjoyed my stay. Thank you to the staff and I will book again to stay here when in the Taunton area. "

"This is a really fabulous small hotel. The mostly young staff are wonderful and have really good customer service skills. The room we had was large and warm and really nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable with sufficient pillows and some nice cushions.It was apparent that thought had been put in to all aspects of our stay. There were lovely little touches in the room - biscuits, fresh coffee and a cafetière, an extra blanket, and even recycling facilities in the room itself. We had a vegan breakfast in a really comfortable dining room, which was well decorated also. I needed a quiet space for an online meeting and staff did their very best to help to provide this for me. In the end this didn’t work because of my own technology issues and bad planning, which wasn’t the fault of the hotel. The hotel is really close to lots of restaurants and takeaways meaning it was a very handy location."

"Basic hotel which is fine for the price but the whole hallway smelt musty and strange and the room also had a damp/cabbage smell. Which meant all our coats and clothes smelt too and we only stayed for 1 night. The staff were friendly though. Hotel needs updating."
