"Spa was nice, room was exceptional in terms of the view, decor and comfort. receptionist very welcoming. Bar area no atmosphere at all. Only used for drinks can’t comment on the food. Staff nice enough. Breakfast was lovely and exactly as ordered. Unfortunately during our stay there was multiple fire alarms going off through night. This in itself was annoying as it disturbed our sleep and we only had one evening booked. Lack of sleep for our big day the following day was not what we had planned...

"Excellent hotel, was a bit disappointed with breakdast, it was still good but have had better. The only thing i found that was annoying, was the room doors are spring loaded and no one seemed to know how to shut a door quietly. When the doors bang shut the rooms aroind shook"

"Beautiful room, very clean. My only concern was that there was only one double socket for your mobile devices, which meant cycling them to recharge. Perhaps bring an extension lead. Breakfast was good as it had vegan options too."

"Had a standard room with 2 single beds. Beds very comfortable , air con good and slept well. Only disappointment was eggs at breakfast, we didn't arrive until 9.15 but the fried eggs and scrambled were dried out. The chef poked about with them as did 2 members of management but none seemed to realise that the fried eggs in particular were inedible and more akin to frisbees. Was a shame as all the other hot items were very good."

"we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto...
