We spent 12 days as a family of 4 in this house. The house is located nicely in a smaller village outside of Kalamata. Close to restaurants and beaches in walking distance. Each room has an AC, which was convenient in the summer heat of July. Both bed rooms are big enough and with enough closet space for a comfortable living arrangement for 4 people. The kitchen/living room is spacious and the kitchen is equipped with the basics. We cooked breakfast every day and the occasional sandwich for supper, but never a full blown dinner because we ate out. To be honest, we did not spend a lot of time at the house because we were either at the beach or explored the region all day. Therefore, we did not use the backyard or enjoyed the beautiful view from the upstairs balcony as much as we could have. The washing machine and the drying racks were important to have for a family of four considering the warm weather and beach activities. The host, Dimitris, was friendly and helpful during our stay. The check-in instructions were clear and simple. He runs a very good restaurant just down the street where we enjoyed the occasional dinner with a beautiful view at the sunset. We came by car and a parking space was available. By car, we easily got to Kalamata city, which offers beaches, sightseeing, shops, and restaurants. We also drove to explore waterfalls in the mountains, archaeological sites, and beautiful cities along the coast. All in all, a great holiday.
