"My son and I stayed 1 night. He was disappointed we weren't staying longer. The hotel was very nice. The king size bed was so comfortable. We didn't have time to go in the pool. Breakfast was enjoyable, my son really enjoyed the waffle and pancakes."

"The facility is keep in excellent condition. Built in 1915 the building and grounds are a jewel. Dinner in the historic main dining room was outstanding. The only negative was the breakfast in the downstairs cafe. Poor quality and service. I suggest you eat breakfast elsewhere."

"Staff was attentive. Someone brought us up some soap when needed after hours. Place was nice and clean. Lobby was nice and spacious. Room was nice. The only thing was the pool was too small for our liking. Other than that it was great stay."

I used the guest laundry- which only takes quarters and you need to bring your own detergent/dryer sheets - but it was nice to not have to find a laundromat. There was a mini fridge in the room but it did not seem to keep anything cold enough. Bed was comfy as well."

"Clean and spacious room. The desk clerk asked if we'd prefer a quieter room at the back of the hotel and we accepted; it was very nice. All staff were very pleasant. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Good steak house right next door if you don't feel like driving!"
