"Listed amenities include free, breakfast, pool and hot tub, laundry, and kitchen. Hot tub wasn’t functioning (not their fault), but for laundry, they had four machines, two, which don’t work, one of which that does work literally has the bottom portion off the machine as it’s broken and was leaking water while in use. Don’t even get me started on the smell afterwards. The staff themselves are good but it isn’t worth it to go there. This does not even include the doors which are paper thin."

"I was quite surprised with all the hype about the Allred because it just seemed like every other room at every other hotel in Newport. I have been coming to Newport for years and this is a very old hotel that was purchased, the old part remodeled and a new addition added to the old part. My room was supposed to be a superior king with a fireplace and an ocean view. This is the top bracket other than the two-bedroom suites, and it fell short to say the least.
