"Hotel is under Reno’s, they are doing their best to keep it clean but there is only so much that can be done. The area that has been renovated looks great (it is more of a heads up). I like this hotel and location. We stayed on 4th floor, which clearly had been renovated and have absolutely no complaints about our room. Staff was friendly and very helpful."

"Restored victorian mansion is very quaint. Technically there isn't any hotel front desk but the restaurant staffers pitch in. Very nice on site Italian restaurant, along with valet parking. Great neighborhood for cafes and bars and ball games."

"Definitely is in need of some love. Feels pretty beat up. Halls and elevators smelled my cigarettes. I had a king and asked if I would be able to switch to a 2 queen room since I had my dad join me and they said i would have to pay the difference of $175 which is crazy considering none of the rooms there should cost $175 period."

"It seems my reservation was invalid. I booked well in advance so that my family and I could arrive on Friday, May 1st; however, the room was not ready, and there were no other rooms available. This was very frustrating, as the whole point of booking on time was to avoid precisely this situation. I had specifically requested two queen beds for the simple reason that the bed in the room they ultimately assigned me was extremely uncomfortable for the children. It is unfair that I drove six...
