What you see is what you get.

Absolutely beautiful room with a breathtaking view. Everything was perfect from the weather to our hosts. The picture does not do justice to the actual view from every part of the room. A small drive to the restaurants but it kept me from the wine!

Lovely B and B and superbly hosted

We were having an extended stay in NZ and decided on bed and breakfast accommodation on this occasion as a change from apartments and hotels. Easy to find on arrival. The Crestwood was simply exemplary. Everything appeared to have been thought of and the meals and stay were tailored to our own particular needs. Jan and Peter helped book a tour for us prior to arrival and worked hard and attentively to ensure that we had a great stay when we were there. View from the balcony was simply outstanding and easily matched the impression given by the online photos which we had viewed at the time we made the booking. Recommended.

Very pleasant house with great views

Our hosts Jan and Peter were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spacious -an area upstairs that included living area, bedroom and bathroom. Wonderful views out to sea.

Willkommen Zuhause

Wir wurden freundlichst empfangen und gleich mit Tee und Kuchen verwöhnt. Janet und Peter sind ein Traumpaar an B&B Hosts. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Es stand uns die gesamte erste Etage zur Verfügung. Alles war blitzsauber und gemütlich. Jammerschade war, dass wir nur ein Nacht gebucht hatten und weiter mussten. Wenn wir wieder in NZ sind, bleiben wir garantiert bei den beiden länger.

The views are to die for but the price you pay is an arduous walk to it from anywhere but hey nothing is perfect.The owners are great and the facilities superb.We had the upper floor to ourselves but the facilities may have to be shared if others are staying so ask about this.

Wish we had longer

We had originaly planned on being in Whakatane for a few days, but unfortunately only had the one. Kicking ourselves now. we were made welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. fantastic views. and very comfortable! great breakfast too. about 10-15 minute walk to the town centre. but nice to be in a quiet relaxing location. would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Great B&B which is like an apartment

Can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Crestwood B&B Jan had muffins for us when we arrived. Although we had just requested a room with twin beds we were offerred to use both rooms at no charge. Nice large open area between the rooms with comfy sofas. Refrigerator was great as well as hot water pot for tea whenever we wanted. Peter made wonderful yummy breakfasts and entertained us with funny stories. Loved the view of the ocean and Whale Island and White Island.
