"Beautiful hotel in very nice, well maintained surroundings, and a swimming pool. 15 minute walk into downtown Perth. However you should check the cancellation policy before booking. A good idea to also thoroughly read the fine print. We discovered just prior to checking in that guests are not allowed to bring alcohol. The hotel advise that you purchase alcohol from them. In all our travel we have never come across such a policy. There is a nice bar which was closed for the two nights we stayed ! Apparently the bar is closed on weekdays and you should request "in advance" if you wish the bar to be open. We would have cancelled our reservation if we had known this at time of booking. However cancelling less than 14 days prior results in a 100% cancellation fee for the first night. Within 7 days the total amount will be charged. In our case $225.44 & $447.87 Parking is limited and on a first come, first serve basis. No information is given for alternative parking. The grounds are huge with plenty of room for additional parking. Our room was very nice. Clean, modern and well maintained. However there was no thermostat and was very cold. Only one arm chair. A small coffee table would also have helped. Beautiful bathroom with shower and separate bath tub. Could use some shelving for toiletries and bring your own Kleenex. Not provided. In all, a beautiful relaxing hotel within walking distance of the town. Just be sure to read the fine print."

"While the staff were helpful and the room clean and large, the bed and pillows were rather firm and uncomfortable. Every morning I had a stiff neck and shoulders and the sleep was fitful. T Again the staff was great. The room very clean and towels etc were replenished often the bed took away from the stay"

"Donna and Keith were wonderful hosts. The place is beautiful and we got to enjoy the grounds. The breakfast was outstanding. So much food and so delicious! We highly recommend staying there. If we are back in Westport, this is where we will stay."
