"Initially planned a stay at Whistler Peak lodge for 9 nights. Had a flight cancellation on Friday by Air Canada due to wild fires. Flight was rescheduled for Saturday next day. My request to refund us the one night that we were not able to use due to flight cancellation was rejected by the hotel. Given my long stay at the hotel from Saturday to Sunday ( actual stay was 8 nights instead of 9 nights) I believe it was reasonable to request a one night refund for not using the hotel room, Disappointed at the rejection by the hotel for declining the one night refund while using 8 nights."
