Arrived to find no parking. We were told that you had to pre book..nothing is said on the Expedia page about that. So plan ahead you have been warned. Room was lovely and large. Although no towels or toilet paper but that was soon sorted. Easy to walk into town...about 10 min. It's your best option as trying to find a parking spot is not easy!! Laundrette about same distance in opposite direction if you need.

not for us

we stayed in the summer room.It had not been aired and smelt damp.we hadnot been left any towels in our room and had to borrow some from friends.the problem was solved the day after.the shower was very poor and the room was very noisy being next to a main road.there was no car parking at the hotel and had to park several yards away and carry our cases to the hotel.The breakfast was very rushed wanting you to finish as soon as possible.not very enjoyable .be there at nine on the dot and eat and be out as quick as possible.on our day of departure we where waiting in our room for our friends to come the time was 1030 approx when the owner knocked on our door and said are you ready for going.thought you where staying another night.not very good manners.we will not be stayin here again.

Whitby Weekend

A lovely house setvaway from the main hustle and bustle of Whitby town. Tastefully decorated and very warm and friendly atmosphere. A place I’d recommend and always return to

Good Whitby accommodation

wonderful stay Sheree and her staff were excellent. Room was lovely and comfortable and the breakfast could not be bettered.

Great guest house!!

This was a very reasonable guest room, which exceeded expectation and made my birthday weekend very remarkable!! I have to thank the staff that were very friendly and helpful!!

Quaint lodgings

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Breakfast was nice. The room was delightfully vintage and only a 10-15 minute walk to Whitby centre. I would stay again and recommend, however parking is limited.

Spacious Room - 10 minutes walk to town centre

We stayed in the Edwardian room, very spacious, comfy bed, generous size bathroom. Both decorated well. View out to road. Breakfast variety was good. Only drawback is limited parking.

Lovely B&B in Whitby

A very nice bed and breakfast. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating, Breakfast was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay at Woodside Villa again.

Great place to stay and an excellent breakfast.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the communication prior to our stay was excellent. The app for visitors contained some very useful information and we would definitely stay there again.

Woodside villa

The hotel is lovely clean and fresh nice size of room the lady who runs it is lovely kind person very welcoming breakfasts were beautiful.

A must try B&B

A great boutique B&B. The owner is passionate about the service provided. Really quirky rooms and dining area but great to be allowed to sit with other guests and share stories and experiences. Really recommend this accommodation. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the owner was very helpful and knowledgeable.. It's about a 15 minute walk in to Whitby but nice to be out of town. Taxis are simple and reasonably priced. Definitely would want to go back.
