"Room had smell of rot/mold strongest in bathroom. It seemed the bathroom sink stand was made of rotten wood. We could not stay the night and ended up just driving home after our meeting in the area. "

"I have stayed here many times. It is a good place, clean and well run. I was put in a handicapped room so counter space in the bathroom was limited. The fridge made a buzzing noise so I should have just unplugged it. For the first time I could hear men talking in the next room till quite late, maybe because the rooms were connected by a door, I always think hotels should acknowledge when you are a return guest, but maybe too much to ask."

"Overall the staff was very nice, The only issue I had was the room was chilly the first night. After having the heat on 90 degrees all night and it still felt chilly, I called maintenance. They came to adjust the vent and heat improved but it still took a long time. Then I smelled burning so I turn the heat down to 77 and the smell went away. I kept the heat on 77 degrees and the heat never went off when the setting was set to auto! Other than this heat issue, everything else was fine! I enjoyed my stay and would come back to this hotel the next time I’m in NYC or New Jersey! "

"Pool closed both days; gym closed at 7 pm on a Sunday. Chose hotel to use their facilities. Room was excellent; clean, decent size, respectable furniture."

"Homewood Suites in Teaneck gave my relatives a very pleasant and comfortable stay during a special family occasion. I am a resident of Teaneck. I booked a 2-queen suite for my aunt, uncle, and cousin for 3 nights as part of a surprise 80th birthday celebration for my mother, and they truly enjoyed their time there. The suite was roomy and well set up, with a small living area, sofa bed, and kitchenette, which made it feel very convenient and homey. The staff were kind, accommodating, and very helpful throughout their stay. My relatives especially enjoyed the unlimited buffet-style breakfast, which was definitely their favorite part. They also appreciated the 24-hour coffee in the lobby and the free parking for guests. On top of that, the view of New York City from the room was such a nice bonus. It made the whole experience even more memorable. I would definitely book at this hotel again when more family comes to visit."
