"Clean, updated, roomy and convenient "

"Yes the room was spotless, bed very comfortable which was important to us. Manager very helpful. only thing could be improved, warm water ran out. Also other people in the office were very helpful. So thank you , the Muirs. "

"Reception person was unfriendly, powered milk for hot drink, no flannels. Hot water for shower non existent. Someone arrived behind building at 6am towing caravan and working on it loudly. Nil secure parking. Disappointing - another couple unhappy also with service and presentation."

"The room worked well for me and was quite spacious. It had all the kitchen tools I needed and was located in a quite area. The only drawback was the WiFi access was lacking some evenings and the front desk was not particularly helpful. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay."

"Do not stay here! This is terrible lodging accommodation above a pub! It's very outdated old and does not feel clean. Had a ensuite room and for the money I paid was very disappointing. When it said oh this is a pub the music isn't loud yiu won't here it. I could hear the music if it was in my room after midnight the music finally turned off! This should be advertised that this is a noisy pub!"

"Whilst check in was professional and friendly -.the room was very shabby andin neecof repair. The chair had a big rip, the carpet in the room had burn holes, 2 lights didnt work and the rubbish bin lid fell off everytine it was ooened as it was broken. The TV did not work and the owner spent about 10 minutes in our unit resetting it. Could fell the springs in the bed. Really disappointing. Room 16 was substandard."

"I didn't know that there is no staff onsite and that reception is at a different motel that is further than walking distance away. I found this out after I booked. The lights on the outside of the building and lack of good curtains meant that room 1 was not dark at night. I asked to be moved which the staff were happy to oblige. There was no hairdryer, access to the laundry, or space to store bags on checkout day - all things that were advertised The rooms were quite dusty and there was no...

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean with a nice shower in the bathroom. However, the parking area was tight and difficult to back out when filled. I would recommend to the owners to put more hooks in the rooms for coats, towels etc. Also, have more than one small rubbish bin. "

Non conventional structure incorporating exposed welded iron beams, glassed in common area on the main floor that fully opens up to the outside, and lots of reclaimed timber in the floor and trim throughout.
