"Beautiful Lake Superior Location with Spacious, Updated Rooms The location of this property is definitely a highlight, situated right on beautiful Lake Superior. The property has an interesting layout, with one section set up motel-style and the other more like a traditional hotel. During our stay, the hotel-style section was under construction and unavailable. Our room was nicely updated, spacious, and comfortable. It was refreshing to have a room with plenty of space that also felt modern and inviting. Breakfast is not included with the stay, but there is a Biggby Coffee attached to the property offering its usual menu of coffee, beverages, and food options. Interestingly, the hotel check-in desk is also located in the same area as Biggby, which is a somewhat unusual setup but convenient. The only minor complaint was that the patio doors could definitely have used a good cleaning. Other than that, we had no complaints about our stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The comfortable, updated accommodations and beautiful location right on Lake Superior make this a great place to stay. We would happily return."
