"Last minute stay at beginning o summer season …more than we could ask for…a lovely stay!"

"I was especially pleased with the Fireside Inn. everything was impeccably clean & all of the staff were friendly & offered assistance. I didn’t get to go in the hot tub or pool due to a recent injury, but hope to when I visit again. I have stayed in many places & know that this one is exceptionally well run."

"Great place to stay. The staff are very friendly and easy to work with. The rooms have all recently been redone very clean. In general the vibe is old school traditional roadside motel but when you go in your room it’s up to date and the back deck outside your room opens up to a lovely yard with a nice pool and they have lots of fireside/lawn toys to keep you occupied. I would definitely stay here again"

"Clean room, comfortable bed, great ac, and a friendly staff. It’s being renovated. No available elevator and the coffee machine in the breakfast area was out of order. The breakfast choices were extremely limited, even basic stuff like yogurt was locked up. Thankfully there is a McD in the same lot; get breakfast there. The place did the job for a quick stay."

"I highly recommend a getaway to this serene lakeside retreat. It is a beautiful hotel and property, very helpful and friendly staff, comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated rooms and wonderful food/drinks. I felt very well taken care of-thank you."

"The property is old so has character. No door on shower room. There is a door to toilet but curtain in shower area. (I do think there are newer cabins than the one we stayed in. )"

"It was super sketchy looking when we pulled up. Checked in and the lobby smelled, parked car around back and it was a bit scary. Walked into room that didnt feel safe, place smelled. The bathtub was old blue and dirty. The beds had large pivots in them, I was scared to use blacklist on bedding. My daughter didnt want to spend night as it was disgusting and she didn't feel safe. We didn't go back, drive home 3 hours instead. They would not refund me any money, not even a call back. $175...

"Cabin was perfect size and having the bar and restaurant on the property was super convenient. It was a quick walk to Weird Beach, which was also a big plus."
