University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center Springfield

"Staff is always friendly and polite.
Especially Chrissie who takes care of the breakfast area with little help. It would help if it was better communicated at check-in that the breakfast buffet is not included in the room rate.
Rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean.
We had a little hiccup this stay, no hot water the first night.
Overall we love staying here every time we visit Springfield."
"This travel lodge is a lovely older styled place, has a cozy welcoming lobby and breakfast area with individual apartment like rooms. My family stayed here for a weekend of baseball tournaments and it was close to the ballpark, quiet enough for a good nights rest, breakfast was served from 6 am which was perfect for early mornings out to games and the outdoor pool was a great opportunity to cool off from the scorching sun we tolerated. Overall a great place to stay at a reasonable price with lots of food places within walking distance if that is what you need. "
"We stayed for 1 night while traveling across the country. The property was good and staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Other guest were noisy however and we could hear them in the halls. Overall I would not have a problem staying again. Close to restaurants and shopping."

"Beautiful gated property. The coconut smell and tropical decor make you forget you are in Missouri. Rooms are large. Bathrooms are modern. Indoor pool is impressive. Outdoor pool is fine and includes beautiful landscaping. Breakfast is decent. Fitness center is basic but gets the job done."
"I was extremely skeptical on getting this Baymont due to the location. However, it exceeded my expectations! From the up-keep of the property on the outside, to the excellent customer service I received at the front desk, the cleanliness of the rooms, clean bathroom with great water pressure, bed was comfortable, it was a full house, but didn't hear any noise nor disturbances, no weird smells, overall excellent stay. We ended our stay with excellent staff assistance for breakfast with fresh food, extremely clean and organized. You will not regret your stay at this Baymont location! 10/10 for the overall stay!"
"Definitely 4 star, however I would give them a 5 but the sign by the pool said no visitors. I have family here in Springfield and they want to come see their grandma. 😔"
"Breakfast was pretty good, the rooms were clean and well maintained. They did charge a $5 parking fee that wasn’t mentioned. Not a huge fan of that. Especially since they didn’t ask me if I parked there and any info about my vehicle."
