We stayed in suite with ocean view that was fantastic over the aquarium with dolphins that weāve been observing daily. The suite was spacious and comfortable. The only thing is the toilet needs some upgrade to

The location was nice, and quiet. Great accessibility to the water. The private beach was excellent. The restaurant staff, food, and live entertainment were excellent. The beds were very comfortable.
The room is very clean and big, nice view of the aquarium and the sea, from huge balcony, friendly and helpful staff. We're had a wonderful time, thanks to everyone.
It was our third visit and it will not be our last visitāŗļø Great location within walking distance to numerous restaurants and entertainment. Great offshore snorkeling, and nice quiet private beach.
The Sea Aquarium Resort was amazing! The staff at the front desk were very helpful and knowledgeable. They were endlessly friendly when arranging taxis or answering questions about local activities. The private beach was immaculate with comfortable loungers and plenty of shade. It was made for the novice or more experienced snorkelers. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a balcony that overlooked the dolphin training lagoons in the actual aquarium. Eating at the on-site restaurant was awesome and the proximity to Mambo Beach Blvd allowed for some more adventurous eating and drinking. Great value for the money, comfortable beds, and very robust A/C. Would highly recommend!!
The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort has a very nice small protected beach with calm water. The restaurant is ok, we ate breakfast there every day because we had pre-paid for it. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby to eat at as an alternative. The room was spacious and very clean. The pool area was beautiful but we did not use it with the beach right there. Definitely would stay again!
The entire property was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Our reservation included breakfast, which was very good, and the waitresses were pleasant. We were there Oct 14-19 and it was not crowded at all. The "beach" is only on the lagoon side, so it's not quite the full beach experience. There is no beach facing the ocean. Beds were comfortable; no issues with water or electricity. There was a large dehumidifier in our room, which was up to us to use or not. The resort provides some free shuttle buses on a predetermined schedule. Taxi ride (use 24-7 taxi app) to 'downtown' was about $20 US.
Only negatives: Free beach towels were old, worn out, and not very large. Wifi was a little shaky, but not horrible.
This resort is quiet and private. If you like intimate and smaller with only 3 floors (not a high rise), this is for you. Staff very helpful and friendly. Close to Mambo Beach Blvd. which has many restaurants and shops within walking distance. We had a great week on vacation! I would recommend The Royal Sea Aquarium as your home away from home.
The location is great and the view from the balcony is amazing. We could see from our room the dolphins swimming in the aquarium next door. Very relaxed atmosphere, not crowded. They have their own private beach and restaurants are within walking distance. Staff is very nice. Room was very spacious and clean.
Breakfast at the restaurant on the property could be better.
I would stay there again.
The resort is in a beautiful location. The beach area was wonderful as were the pools. I also appreciated the shuttle to downtown as well as the grocery store. Overall we had a good experience, however I didnāt appreciate frequent calls from the staff if we had the door open to the patio and the reception was not as warm and helpful as other resorts we have visited.
Wonderful location and fabulous beach area. Many restaurants and shops within a quick walk. We loved the swimming area and snorkeling from shore.

āThe Royal Sea Aquarium sits on a beautiful, clean beachfront property with friendly, multilingual staff.
However, the front desk is understaffed usually just one receptionist and one concierge, meaning check-in can easily take over 30 minutes after a long day of travel.
āThe oceanfront rooms are spacious, clean, and feature true ocean views and a kitchenette.
Unfortunately, genuine hospitality ends at the room door.
Standard hotel conveniences like in-room coffee, shower caps, and ice buckets are absent unless purchased separately. Additionally, typical resort perks like water sports aren't included, youāll face extra charges for almost everything ($60 for an ice bucket, $10/hour for kayaks, plus a $30 towel deposit).
Most resorts will give you a graceful 1hr late checkout, expect a $25+ fee.
Overall, the constant fee-for-service model undermines what could otherwise be a peaceful getaway.
