Eagles Mere is a beautiful town to visit. The staff at the Inn was very friendly and helpful. The Inn was clean, comfortable and the food was very good. Would definitely recommend this inn.

Warm hospitality in a magical town.

What a fabulous place - we played chess after dinner and breakfast was delicious. The magical town is very walkable. The tavern in the basement was fun for drinks and dinner. We received excellent hiking suggestions too. Can’t wait to return.

You deserve this!

Quality first accommodations. Recently restored historic property located in an unspoiled mountain setting and community. Fine dining and spirits on site make for a fantastic evening.

The property was recently totally rehabbed in a first class manner. It is a registered historical property. The restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced for a high quality meal. The only negative for us was that it does not have an elevator and our room was on the third floor.

The inn was charming and the staff were so friendly and competent. The surrounding neighborhood is a trip back into earlier times. Some of the history, I knew. Other bits, I learned.

Really nice property, well maintained, and a great location for hiking in the area.. The room we stayed in was a bit cramped, but very nice otherwise. The restaurant was fantastic and could not recommend it more. However, they seem caught between being an inn and a bed and breakfast and have not really put much effort into the breakfast. It was pretty plain and repeated, even over the weekend. But, I would definitely stay here again.

The property is beautiful and certainly evidences the improvements that they have made to it. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating which is part of the charm of the place. If I was to make one suggestion...the pillows on the beds in the rooms while attractive...don't supply much support. I'll bring my own pillow next time... and there will be a next time. Wonderful place to stay for the weeke3nd.

This stay was disappointing, the area was fantastic. Some of the staff were rude and we had to ask for towels every day. No housekeeping was provided. Breakfast was ok, actually had to ask to have a second cup of coffee. Do not recommend.

Eagles Mere Inn is a wonderful place to stay at to relax and enjoy the area around you. The Inn is a beautiful place to stay and very clean. The town is pristine and lovely to walk through. We will definitely be back!

Electric chargers needed

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very modern rooms with private bath and a great breakfast. Manager was very helpful in arranging for my electric car recharge even when they don’t yet have charging stations. The dining outside worked well and the food Tasty but a bit limited. Over all we had a great visit.
