"Definitely worth staying here. Great refit of the old brutalist Newcastle Council Chambers into this stylish hotel. Right in the heart of the city, opposite Kings Park, a very short walk to Civic light rail, which takes you to either Newcastle Beach or the heavy rail interchange, access to the waterfront via the old Civic railway station and close to several restaurants, pubs etc. Well trained and friendly staff, nice if compact rooms, comfy bed and breakfast with the best view in Newcastle over the harbour to Nobby's and the Pacific Ocean. Given I spent the first 10 years of my life in Newcastle it was great to walk the area and reminisce though much has changed. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Newcastle and recommend it."
