Peaceful place to stay

We had 3 days here at the end of a longer visit to Namibia. Great place to stay, very relaxing. Staff were brilliant. Not many animals about apart from near the main buildings. We went on the 9km hike. Wonderful views but watch out for the steep uphill end of the trail 😀

Expedia informed the lodge that my credit card payment was rejected, although it was successful from ,my bank statement. I had to pay again to be able to check-in. A very embarrassing experience

Consider staying somewhere else

They pretend something is wrong with the Expedia booking and show you this rliaf of rates and try to renegotiate with you. Freida is particularly nasty in the strong arm tactics. The shower remained stopped up without repair after 4 days...never fixed. Staff told me they management is ruthless...I saw that. Get money from government and therefore thong need to compete.

Mooie cabins, mooie omgeving

Let op!! De safari kan alleen met een 4WD auto worden gedaan, als je met je gewone huurauto komt, ben je aangewezen op wandelen, er zijn twee wandel routes. Een van 1,5 km een van 9 km. Het grote restaurant was gesloten, eten kon bij de poolbar en restaurant. Als je niet van in het water spetterende kinderen houdt is dat wat onrustig. Verder prima verblijf dicht bij Windhoek en vlak bij het Vliegveld.

Too far from city, but nice!

Facilities are excellent, good staff, and nice environment. But, too far to go there without a car. I asked a hotel to arrange a pickup service to an airport. Commission is almost half, which means I have to pay too much money. After I heard actual fare from a cab driver, I was disappointed. This is Africa! Meals are also so so! Considering price, it is not reasonable.
