Wonderful boutique hotel perfectly situated for exploring the Wolfsville area of Nova Scotia.
The room was a bit small with very little area to just sit and relax, but that’s a minor quibble.
It was a great place to stay.
Location for visiting around the area is great. Take time to explore the entire inn before you settle in. Lovely common spaces. You might find a midnight snack surprise for guests in a freezer somewhere.
Everything was wonderful ! This is place is beautifully designed, has a unique aesthetic - we loved our room, the bed, and ...the sauna ! The breakfast was memorable- all offerings healthy and natural .
Would recommend 10/10. Room 4 exceeded expectations, and the shower was great. Breakfast was a great start to each day and the Team was welcoming and full of recommendations to fill our day.
Loved this stay. Clean room and public areas, unique design featured throughout elevated the experience. Was really nice to have connecting room options so the whole family could enjoy their beds at different bedtimes. Staff was welcoming and the breakfast provided was a great feature of local options. Will seek this one out for future NS holidays.
The August House was a truly wonderful place to stay! It's clearly a carefully curated environment with comfort and relaxation in mind. The room was incredible comfortable, the staff was lovely and the included breakfast was delicious! We will certainly be back next time we are in the area!
Everything was beautiful. They set out a variety of amenities for their guests to have for free, which includes granola little bags of chips, little pieces of chocolate, coffee, tea, water there’s a little fridge in our room that we could keep things in the bathroom was beautiful and clean.
A 180 year old house was brought back to life. Beautiful, spacious rooms in light colors. Wonderful bathroom and the breakfast was superb. Homemade granola, crusty bread, egg bites. It was a wonderful find and we highly recommend staying for more than just one night.
This was quite possibly the best place I’ve ever stayed on vacation ever. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff that we met were wonderful. The whole house was just beautiful. If and when we make it back to Nova Scotia, I’d really like to come here again!
