"When I arrived at the property, it was unstaffed. There was a list of eight telephone numbers to call. I called one and was directed to open several key safes before the right key was found. When I reached my room, I found that instead of being the “standard” room I’d booked, it was a cheaper “compact room” - much more cramped and much less pleasant. I felt that cleanliness and maintenance left something to be desired - there was cracked and flaking paint, the electrics felt to me pretty amateur...

"Absolute Weiterempfehlung Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Bad, dass sehr gemütlich und sauber war. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. In die Innenstadt konnte man innerhalb von ca. 15 Min. zu Fuß laufen oder direkt vor dem B&B mit dem Bus abfahren. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Check-In war schnell und problemlos. Zum Frühstück können wir leider nichts sagen, weil wir außerhalb gegessen haben. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen."

"Everything about the Conifers was excellent, except for one detail at check-in. I was particularly impressed by the comfy bed and very user-friendly shower. My only gripe was that when the young lady offered me breakfast for £10 (cash only), she did not explain that this involved just a continental breakfast plus eggs, beans and toast.
