Top Woodford Hotel Reviews

Best Western Red Lion Hotel

8/10 Good

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Salisbury. The room was very pleasant, the bar staff and reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent."

Rose and Crown Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We loved staying in this 13th century inn. We were given a room in the original section of the inn - amazing wattle and daub walls, original timber work and wonky floors! The River Avon flows past the front of the Rose and Crown property. A beautiful settling and a privilege to be able to stay here! If you love history, this is the place to stay in Salisbury."

The Merchant's House, BW Signature Collection

8/10 Good

"Great location with parking Tea/Coffee in the room, but no biscuits Hot shower, large bath towels Large TV, no easy chair in Kingsize Classic room, possibly as room was a little small Bed was good and enough power points Very good breakfast, but dining area dimly lit. Nice option on how eggs are cooked"

The Riverside, WorldHotels Distinctive

10/10 Excellent

"Really great stay here. Beautiful room and setting. Mini bus shuttle is a wonderful free touch and I want to give a special shout out to Anna on the front desk who went the extra mile when we had a “wardrobe malfunction”! 5/5 couldn’t fault a thing."

The George Hotel, Amesbury, Wiltshire

10/10 Excellent

"Friendly staff. Lovely clean rooms. Good bar and restaurant"

The Chapter House

10/10 Excellent

"The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was great, especially the lovely bathtub. Breakfast was included and was very good."

Mercure White Hart Hotel Salisbury and Apartments

8/10 Good

"Garden is fabulous"

The Star and Garter

8/10 Good

"A one night stay, very convenient location and parking (which is a little tricky to find) but overall a pleasant stay. The rooms are a little tired but given what we paid they it was good value. I would use again"

Woodlands Lodge Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful location to explore the New Forest. Staff are exceptional. Food was very good and well presented, I had the salmon, with broad bean and pea fricassee, asparagus and potatoes for dinner, I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Room was a little dated but perfect for what I needed (room 6), it was very relaxing having a bath with the window open looking out at the trees and sky."
