"Look, for the type of property this place is, I would normally give it 4 stars. It's an older property that has seen better days. It's rather worn and there are some maintenance issues. The owners/staff were decent at times and indifferent at others. I booked this property strictly for the location and for a rate that was under $500 for two nights, since I stayed over July 4th weekend. With that though, that is why I knocked down a star. It did cost me over $400 for the weekend including...

"Great place to stay to walk around historic area Deadwood. Paul was super helpful in helping us park and even carted us to Mavericks for steak ao we got there before they closed. Lobby bar lounge area was nice. Would definitely recommend."
