"Here again for another cycling race at Gravesend. There are closer hotels, and we are only here for the electricity, but without that tie, would we still stay here? Well looked after and made to feel at home, so probably yes."

"The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. I was lucky to receive a room which overlooked the lake. Although there was no balcony, I was able to open the window & hear the noise of the ducks and water rippling. "There are many good things about this hotel and I would stay here again. My negatives were although the cooked options were good why does a four star establishment provide mostly tinned fruit at breakfast and yogurt in tubs. You used to be better than this. I also went for a swim at 6.30pm on a Friday ..."
