"Oberdeck is in a great location to explore Hamburg. It’s very close to transport, restaurants, and some great coffee. The apartment was compact but very clean and well equipped. The balcony is a great space. Our only issue was how hot it was upstairs in the bedroom even when it was cool downstairs and outside. A fan is supplied but it was still uncomfortable. The roof top deck is lovely. We would definitely stay again. "

Furthermore is not specified that the building has no elevator, and carrying heavy luggage to the 2nd floor was uncomfortable. "We arrived at ten thirty in the morning after a red eye flight from Dublin. We had a terrible night’s sleep before the early flight. So we were spent when we arrived. The reception staff collectively were just fabulous and sympathetic. We were in out room by 11.45 and asleep soon after. We also had a delicious dinner in the Stadt restaurant with fabulous food and a very personal experience. Lastly but not least, I would recommend the 1910 cocktail lounge for their very accommodating staff and fabulous cocktails. We’ll be back sooner than later. Thanks again Cindy and Steve"
