"For the top hotel in the town, ir didnt justify its rating. Whilst our room was ok, we were told had we booked direct instead of through a booking site we would have had a better room. There was a very nice bar on the roof terrace but had no access for guests with disabilities. You could not make bar purchases without a means of immediate payment. You could not charge to room. "I stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling to Myrtle Beach. Within a few days, I developed multiple clusters of bites on my arms and ear. The reaction became severe enough that I had to visit a doctor, who felt the bites were consistent with bed bug bites. What should have been a relaxing family vacation has instead involved medication, discomfort, and constant worry about whether I may have brought something home with me. I hope management takes this seriously and thoroughly inspects...

"The hotel was moderately clean, but there was an empty soda can on the floor and old orange juice in the fridge. The place could be nice but it is badly neglected. The pool is not operational, breakfast was fruit loops, coffee was available until 9 a.m. Coffee in the room had no sugars, or creamer. I had to change rooms 3 times in 3 days. The first two the key cards ceased to work, they also ceased to work at the entry doors, another room had no ventilation and the AC was broken. The staff...

"Small family-runned motel, furnitures are old, some part of the property renovated but the rest is dated and need owner's attention e.g. broken venetian blinds, no closet nor hooks+hangers for hanging clothes & towels. I booked a family room just because they have one king bed and one double bed that fit in our family of 5. We only stayed one night but the in-room microwave,fridge & coffee maker eased our need. Overall it is not too bad for the price I paid."

"I had to wipe everything down the whole room was dirty. Maintenance does an awful job. We had to view rooms before we decided on what we wanted because person checking Us in wasn't sure. The hotel itself wasn't at all up to any codes of America's Best Hotels and in need of updates."
