Home in Xi'an

We didn't have to go back to Xi'an, but my husband loved this hotel so much, we made a quick stop by in Xi'an, so he could experience this hotel again. It's a great location, close to the wall, close to local food center. We loved hotel staff as well - exceptional service. Now we feel it's a home base if we return to Xi'an again - good feeling to have!

Location was sightly far off the metro station but still manageable. Many food options and shopping options nearby. 1 slight complain is that the room is not entirely insulated by the horns of cars by the roadside.

Insulted!

Upon check in the front staff refused to provide breakfast despite being stated on the confirmation. When pointing to the facts we were indirectly accused for lying. I have seldom been so insulted by a professional establishment and has to spend half an hour with the support team at an enormous roaming cost before the hotel agreed to honour the booking. No one from hotel management bothered to provide an apology and it was only upon check out they presented a piece of chocolate for the inconvenience. I expect far better from Hilton!

Service was excellent from the reception to restaurant but i would like to address especially the kindness of the concierge who was absolutely amazing and helped at any moment of our trip. Joan was helpful on the front desk. He went out of the way to makeover stay comfortable he booked the tickets. He speaks good English overall, we were happy with the place. Will highly recommend anybody with family or business.
