Only stayed for a day in this hotel. The view from the hotel room is really beautiful. Staff are helpful and friendly, however I don't get the reservation system for the meals/restaurants in this hotel. As this hotel is kind of "isolated", you will probably have your dinner in one of their restaurants. The hotel itself is a bit on the far end of the town, making it nice and quiet, with a fantastic view over lake Toya and the islands. If you come by train or bus, they kindly offer shuttle services, which was greatly appreciated. Rooms very comfortable with their own onsen, beds amazing, breakfast also great - both options, Japanese and Western style. good helpful freindly staff 40 minutes from the ski resorts

This was a great location so that I could take the morning bullet train to tokyo. Breakfast had a good choice and I even got a free curry dinner in the evening which was delicious and an unexpected treat.

The room quite big and it have many space for 3 person for dinner with lake view and firework. We love it. But one thing about the public bath. We seen the mention about it which we think it will also have the private shower room for some person that do not want for onsen and for the woman who have the menstruation. It is sure that all woman will do the onsen.

All good, but onsen could do with a clean/update
