"The quality and variety of food available were extremely limited, and the standard was well below what would be considered acceptable for a hotel of this calibre. As the hotel is located on an island off Nouméa, we had no alternative dining options and were effectively restricted to what was offered on-site. We basically ate chips for dinner most nights and a ham roll for lunch saving half for dinner. The food was also quite expensive, we racked up a $1000 for the week , most of it on food we couldn’t eat. The breakfast was terrible and if you didn’t get there early a lot would be gone and not replenished. It was a tough week. This was why we contact you to see if it was possible to transfer to a different hotel but unfortunately you were unable to help."

"Fully equipped kitchen, ocean and pool views. Beautiful hotel with great staff. Quiet and peaceful. Only downside is that the “French” spa (which looks awesome btw) requires little tight swimmer shorts to enter, perhaps normal for French but others countries we didn’t usually wear it. "

"Everything was great. breakfast had lots of options and was delicious. It is more of a hotel than resort. Location is amazing. We spent lots of time walking around and on the beach. Easy to get a taxi into the port for travel. The taxi from duck island is only a 10minute walk from hotel"

"Sara at reception was amazing with assisting me. The rest of the team were all welcoming and friendly. The hotel was quiet and convenient to the down town area."

"Our room was a good room in fair condition. Generally the whole property was lacking the sparkle of a 4/5 star hotel , Although it was priced as a 5 star !!. Differently not up to Marriott standards although marketed as a Marriott Hotel. On line Marriott say the hotel is "Closed" and there is no name at the entrance or any directions to the property. Any member of the general public can and do use the pool and other areas of the property for a small daily fee. Overall we were very disappointed and very over charged !! "
