Loved the rooms and the hotel. Not too impressed by the Brewery Restaurant but other places were good. Not many staff spoke English but managed the language barrier. Ideal location to all kinds of things

Great location, clean room, very nice hotel with friendly staff. Room was on small side. Breakfast was plentiful, but a bit hectic. A lot of people in hotel, have to plan ahead to get to breakfast room before peak times.

Everything I could need they either had for sale or provided and the train station is only a couple minute walk away. The staff was very helpful and maintained the properties cleanliness to an impressive degree. The restaurants in the building were all very good and fairly priced. All in all the stay was wonderful and I can’t think of a single complaint

The property was considerably better than I expected! It was a last minute booking on Expedia and I got a fantastic rate for a weekend stay. While I noted the excellent reviews, the property was visually impressive upon arrival. The check in line appeared to be long, more than 30 people ahead of us, but moved extremely quickly. We were checked in within 15 minutes of arrival. The property offered numerous options for restaurants and had 2 Family Marts. The public bath was fantastic. It was very clean and there was a variety of amenities in our room that was refreshed on the second night. Really couldn’t find anything to complain about. The staff were quick and responsive. The surrounding neighborhood was cool to explore. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

The property was close to transportation and the activities around Yokohama! About 15 min walk to the Red Brick House or Chinatown! The room was clean and great design where the output of air don’t hit one on the face during sleep is a plus. Break buffet looks great but we didn’t have time to try

Key Highlights: Effortless Transit & Value: Fast express check-in and compact, functional rooms maximize productivity with high-speed Wi-Fi. Direct access to train lines and airport buses makes commuting painless. The Grand Spa: The expansive public bath (Daiyokujo) is the ultimate post-flight recovery spot to unwind and reset after long meetings. Scenic Running Routes: Step straight outside onto flat coastal paths stretching through Minato Mirai and Yamashita Park—perfect for invigorating morning or evening runs by the harbour. Only thing I would like them to bring back is Apple AirPlay to mirror/extend my laptop display. They seem to have changed it.

Love the APA Hotels. Rooms are a bit small but for me as a solo traveler, It’s was ok. Very clean, very friendly, helpful staff. Right on the bay, looking over the Ferris wheel and a 10min walk to the cup noodles museum. 10/10!

I stayed in a double room and a single room .For the price it is okay-storage for luggage is under the bed.I find the bathroom very small as a 5’8 when sitting my knees nearly touch the door.Overall I found the single room to be slightly more spacier overall.Would stay here again because of the easy check in and out process.Especially the express check out which was very convenient for catching 5am trains to Narita airport.No complications.

Very nice hotel, great location, love how there’s a convenient store and a few really good restaurants on site. Also has a great brewery. However, my biggest complaints happen to be on what’s most important. First, they have very limited parking. For a hotel this size, they should be able to accommodate full capacity. Second, probably most important and my biggest complaint, their mattresses are absolutely horrible. They’re hard as a rock, extremely uncomfortable, same with their pillows. Probably the worst three nights I’ve stayed anywhere my entire life. Couldn’t sleep, had to keep rolling over into different positions due to severe pains and being completely uncomfortable. Took a couple hours each morning to stretch and walk it off, feeling completely exhausted. I visit Yokohama a lot, only chose this place because of their cheaper holiday rates. Never again. I’d rather spend the extra money at a nicer hotel with better mattresses.

We'd stayed in this hotel before and on that occasion, we had an amazing view. This time we'd said in the notes that it was our honeymoon, but unlike other hotels, this hotel did not respond to that and our view was just OK this time. They also didn't give us any kind of greeting while other hotels we stayed at did. The lack of human connection is this hotel's biggest weakness - even check in is done with a machine and minimal human contact, so it's not a good example of real Japanese hospitality. Where we did experience great service was in posting an item to Tokyo - that was more the postal delivery company offering exceptional service than the hotel. The facilities are clean, the onsen is a great addition to experience and the location is amazing. Sakuragicho is a beautiful area of Yokohama. The hotel is a fair walk from the JR station, but Bashamichi station is closer and has a lift if you have luggage. But if you walk along the boardwalk, it's a lovely walk - especially at night with the lights. Having a convenience store inside was useful for getting a reasonable breakfast. So overall, the human connection side is weak from the front desk staff - the room cleaning staff are much more friendly. The facilities and location are great.
