"The breakfast was awesome. Actual fresh fruit was provided, fresh blue berries and strawberries very yummy. The rooms could use an upgrade but they were clean and had plenty of hot water.. The staff were amazing and they were so helpful. We decided that this hotel will be the one we will be staying at every time we visit Sonora. The Bush Family"

"We lived all the personal touches. They made fresh donuts every morning and delivered them to your room at the time we choose. Soft serve ice cream available in the lobby for free. Room was large and so comfortable. We will definitely stay here again."

"There are not too many hotels in Groveland, but this one stands out. Very clean, well maintained, staff are very helpful. If you are arriving late, read the email/message for instructions how to check in. We arrived late but check in was straightforward although there were no staff at reception, the keys to the rooms were in a lockbox and rooms were ready and well provisioned with all required amenities."

"Terrible! Pictures do not look like the rooms. Room smelled upon entry, ac not on had to turn on to cool room, bathroom had no air or ventilation, tub was slippery. My mom almost fell in shower. Carpets dirty! I was worried about bugs. Only way to get outside light was a curtain that anyone walking by could see into room. We arrived late and front desk directed us to walk 2 blocks to one place that should have been open. It was at least 5 blocks and not open. Finally WHO PUTS A COFFEE MAKER IN...

"Location is great. Staff is very friendly and informative. The TV system sucked. The bed make these squeaking noises whenever you got up so irritating for the other person. And unfortunately, I guess the person next door to our room didn't think it would bother anyone when he started his truck up at five or so in the morning right outside our room and let it idle for about 10 minutes before leaving. Obviously not the fault of the Hotel, just an inconsiderate dunce."

"WOW! We were taken by surprise with this place. Located on Main St., the Royal Carriage Inn is one of the oldest permanent structures in Jamestown, and is beautifully restored and updated. It's only managed by America's Best Inn & Suites. It's clean, quiet, and comfortable with coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and blow dryer. The room is small but not cramped. The bathroom is shower only and IS cramped, but it's fine. Breakfast is included, but we didn't realize it until it was too late. The...

"Stayed in a room 314 next to the road. It was very loud starting at 5am motorcycles, buses, trucks all traveling down the same road to work. It t was also very bright. There was no blow dryer or shampoo, the water temperature was very touchy. Bed was comfortable and it was a convenient spot in town and not go explore the mountain forties near by. I would not stay longer than a night."
