"If you need an escape from the city but want something not too far from a tourist attraction or the highway, this is a great place.
Half board option provides a sumptuous buffet dinner with unlimited sashimi (hamachi, tai, tuna tataki)."

"I was surprised that the staff at the reception desk spoke no English—nada. Hence communicating was quite difficult since I don’t speak any Japanese, nada. But it’s the case that English is not spoken almost anywhere in Shikoku. Apart from the language issue, my stay at the hotel was quite pleasant, the hotel location proved to be excellent for day trips on the island and my room was very comfortable.

"The hotel is beautiful. The staff is excellent. The onsen is the best we have encountered. We used it 3 times! The little convenience store is not great but the airport is close and the shuttle is free! The nearby Sanuki Kodomonokuni was SO MUCH FUN for the whole family and it is FREE!!! We could have spent two days just hanging out there doing the many activities! The breakfast was repetitive but had a good selection and it had things we all enjoyed! The airport has good restaurants if you don’t want to make your way back into town (where there are wonderful restaurants and of course the beautiful Ritsurin Gardens). The car dealership next door has a better vending machine than the hotel for soda pop, but the vending machines in the “resting room” (connect to the unseen change rooms) had good options, and a whole machine of ice cream."

"Spacious room, incredibly convenient with a convenience store on the ground floor and a direct passageway to the Amico shopping centre next door. Very accessible, literal steps from Tokushima station and the bus bay. Breakfast is not included, but lots of dining options nearby. Highly recommend the basement floor of Amico for their fresh and affordable sushi and sashimi. Would definitely stay again for future trips to Tokushima."

"Room wasn’t what we were expecting - beds were on a platform 3 steps up and had cot sides. Also no bathtub - we asked to be moved to a different room and eventually a compromise was found. They said that Expedia has mixed up the photographs between room types "
"This is located high on Bizan Mountain with great views of the city.
Our room was spacious with excellent views.
The Onsen is particularly relaxing - it is well laid out and the outdoor section allows you to leisurely soak while admiring the view.
There are some nice places for walks around the property. The free shuttle to Tokushima station is appreciated.
The dinner/breakfast are buffet-style and more than adequate for the price range.
Definitely recommended if you have an extra day or two in the area."
