Interesting stay. The room was fairly clean, but a little funky (microwave on a chair, gas station style toilet and some pretty nasty baseboards in the bath). No maid service the entire stay and one towel (no washcloth or hand towel either) to share with three people for three nights. I checked with the front desk, but after being told by the front desk that we got two towels (no there was only one, pretty easy to count), the front desk said they did not have towels and apparently the maids lock the front desk out of their supply closet. I also overheard the front desk warning a guest that they were not going to continue to give them toilet paper.
There was a permanent community living in the back (bikes, shopping carts, decorations in windows, etc.). Marysville has a very large homeless community and perhaps the city subsidizes housing at cheap motels as all of the inexpensive motels seem to have the same type of reviews.
The last night there, three fights erupted (lots of screaming and cussing...not great for my kids to hear), with no intervention from the motel or police. One of the other guests stepped in to quiet the noisy group and that ignited another noisy fight! Next time I'll spend the money on a higher class motel.
