"This was a very pretty colonial style hotel; the location is everything you could ask for in Valladolid and we stayed comfortable in our room. Good AC. The restaurant was delicious for both breakfast and dinner (and very pretty to look at too). The only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars for me was our room location; we were on the ground floor right near the pool and restaurant and it could be very loud at times. I am a pretty heavy sleeper so it wasn't the worst for me, but my husband is not and he had a hard time."

"Tout a été magnifique. L'hôtel est vraiment au centre ville, prope, les gens sont très gentils, le déjeuner n'était pas vraiment le meilleur, il n'y avait pas de tout une variété et a tous le jours il était le même, (des œufs et tortillas)."

"Muy satisfecha con este hotel , las instalaciones muy cómodas , todo el personal muy amable , los señores del valet parking una maravilla !! Los horarios de la alberca son excelentes de 6am a 11 pm si llegas cansado y tarde de un tour te metes a la alberca"

"I have stayed there several times since 2008 the property has always been clean, staff accomodating and courteous. beds are above average hotel beds for comfort, the entire property is very clean with good cleaning organizations of staff and adminitration. The only disappointmente is the lack of hot water in the showers, warm but only beyond the warmth of tap water. The beach view from my room was good, but limited to the side of the building and the location of the balcony; but beach side balconies are excellent, just hard to reserve through hotel reservations services, all services."

"Hubo un problema casi todos los días que mi hijo quería subir a la alberca exactamente a las nueve de la mañana cuando se suponía que debía estar abierta y estaba cerrada y hubo un momento en que le dijeron hasta las 10am después, vinieron abriéndola a las 9:48am. estuvo una hora. Regresamos en la tarde noche y me dijeron al llegar abajo que le iban a cerrar a las 10 de la noche, pues subimos desde las 7:30pm y de repente sale una señora diciendo que la alberca se iba a cerrar a las ocho P.M. por qué iban a echar unos químicos, muy grosera!!! Así que me parece muy mal, que muy tarde para abrir, pero muy prestos para cerrar exactamente al tiempo que quieren. Muy mala, la atención de esa señora en la alberca!!!"

"Location was good, condition of the hotel was well maintained, there was convenient on-site free parking and the staff were attentive. The downside was the power cuts that we experienced in the two afternoons when we were in the hotel. Both were due to heavy rain affecting the electricity provider's old infrastructure. The first afternoon was only for a few minutes, but the second afternoon was for three hours. We did speak to management about potentially cancelling our stay, but fortunately the electricity came back on before we had to move. The Holiday Inn was not the only hotel affected, but it did affect our stay."
