Hotel Secreto La Fortuna
10/10 Excellent
"This property was very clean and well maintained. The views of Arenal Volcano are stunning. Breakfast was very good. You get 3 options to choose from after they serve you a plate of fruit. The wildlife was amazing. We had sloths in the parking lot, toucans in the trees and iguanas within the property. Location was great to venture on into La Fortuna. Only down side, the pool is a little small."

Hotel Lomas del Volcán

"We loved our stay at Hotel Lomas del Volcan. It felt delightfully secluded from the main strip because of the design of the property. Having a little bungalow set in the woods was very relaxing - it was like being in an Ewok village! The staff was super helpful, and the breakfast buffet had a great selection of fruits. The swim-up bar had an amazing view of the volcano. Getting to other locations was very easy. We did a lot of tours with the hotel, and we were lucky that the tours were not very busy, so we essentially had a naturalist tour guide for our family of four during the volcano trip and hanging bridges tour. We especially liked the caving tour."

"Very friendly and welcoming stop close to SJO. Very characterful, the rooms are large with a great view over the valley. The extensive grounds have great walking trails - we saw an agouti - for early morning walks and a hummingbirds visible from the breakfast restaurant and the jacuzzi next to the swimming pool. Staff are very helpful and friendly, food was good."

"The property was beautiful the staff, thehotel guest, and just everyone on the property was so nice. It was so relaxing and a nice place to reset. Carlos was amazing with activities and speaking positivity to you. The food was very delicious and fulfilling. The Coffee and Tea Bar was exceptional. I will be returning."

"Beautiful rooms, planned to have privacy and balconies. It was like staying in a botanical garden. Salt water pools, , surprise spots to relax. Great breakfast w in raised dining room with a stunning view of Arenal. Close to town but no need to Keavy’sCorner the property."
