This was such a lovely place to start our Costa Rican roadtrip! Elena was such a wonderful host and we loved meeting her. The breakfast was delicious and the setting was really pretty. Thank you!

We loved our stay here. The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the enclosed seating area at the front of each cabin, with fresh coffee provided, was a great place just to sit for a while....

Booked the tree house as a special treat and it was wonderful. The Sloth House, which we had booked was a little close to the road, but we were offered a larger tree house with a hammock (my partner loves hammocks!) for the rest of our stay which was perfect. We arrived very late at night due to a 4 hour delay on our flight. We were warmly greeted and shown to our lodge. It was clean and very comfortable just what we wanted after our very long day. The next morning the view from our balcony took our breath away, we were totally in the rainforest!! It was difficult to get the kids out of the hammocks on the balcony as they could have lazed there all day. Breakfast is simple but delicious- all freshly cooked. With only 3 cabins set in beautiful trees overlooking Quesada and the Palma Valley, this place is magical. The hosts Luis and Marjorie run the fabulous La Hortensia restaurant with organically grown food from the farm. Wanted to leave no review so that we could keep this place a secret!

Perfect first night hotel after a long flight. The hotel arranged an airport pick up for us. The room was very comfortable. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Food at the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.

Once you've marvelled at your surroundings, your accommodation and the facilities, thinking that you must be dreaming, the staff and management just embrace you and you are part of the family. Excellent location, within its own wildlife reserve Giant Green iguanas, lots of different birds and butterflies. Great food and friendly helpful staff.

This was a great hotel, incredible views and comfortable room. Staff were friendly, will definitely want to visit and stay here again. Loved the breakfast in the morning.
