"Great location right next to the Porta Nigra. Our room was quiet and had a great view of the valley outside. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bathroom in our room could use an update/remodel, the use and wear were apparent and the shower drain backed up."
"We stayed in a junior suite, it was a beautiful room. The hotel is also perfectly located within walking distance to all the major sites. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Trier."
"Trier is so beautiful and the town square is vibrant and fun, and the location of the hotel for access was excellent, restaurant staff and breakfast was excellent, front staff were excellent!
Room bathroom was tiny, as is often in Europe, but shower would be difficult if you have mobility issues. The tub is a bit taller to step into and then you have to reach around the half glass partition to turn on the shower. But then the glass partition did not keep the spray inside so we always ended up with a big pool of water on the floor. Towels weee quite small compared to other hotels we have stayed in while in Germany.
Plug ins are limited in the room.
Bed was very comfortable but the pillows were not very comfortable."
"The facility is spotless, the rooms well appointed. The breakfast offerings are 5 Star. Shops àre a 10 minute walk from Klouschter. Direct busses to Luxembourg Gare are a 10 minute walk from Klouschter (at Casino 2000). Of the Front Desk Staff, one Staff Member could not do enough to be helpful, including speaking English, and, writing information on paper with pen. The other Front Desk Staff member could not have been more rude, including providing misleading information and 'No English' ... Everyone in Luxembourg speaks English and have for decades."
"Disappointing. The guy on reception was grumpy before I even spoke. No smile or welcome. When an issue was raised by him, which I was in disagreement with, my perception was he was condescending and misogynistic. He made me feel guilty and like I was an idiot. I am not those things, .He has no diplomacy and should not deal in front desk. The room he gave us was in the ground floor so you needed to keep curtains closed for privacy, thereby reducing natural light, as it was a busy residential corridor with many walking past."
