"The staff was great: Mark at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and renovated. The location of the motel is noisy when you’re outside but fine in the room. The restaurant was convenient and the food was good. Service was very good. We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t very inviting after I had a chance to swim in the lake. The place was very quiet."

You can’t beat the location and with the addition of the outdoor pool and food/bar service the amenities are exceptional. Our suite was spectacular. Big, clean and comfortable. "We had a great visit over all. The grounds and gardens were lovely and well kept and the beach access and pool were wonderful. The interior of the buildings is ready for an update but service was great. We had booked a standard room in the pine lodge. It was not as clean or spacious as hoped and had only black out blinds on a very dirty window. The hairdryer and Keurig coffee machine didn’t work. We were able to move across the hall to the ‘deluxe’ room which had a larger fridge, working appliances and a lovely patio over looking the greens. I would highly recommend this option over the front facing rooms with no balcony or patio. The second floor room was perfect for my mom as there were no stairs to walk as there were in other areas. Breakfast buffet was okay- think diner more than resort breakfast but it hit the spot. Overall we enjoyed the facilities and access to the lake was wonderful."
