"I chose River Rock due to its location to the airport. There were no just bar area to be able to sit and relax in. There were no tables outside the casino to sit at and enjoy talking with your group. I would have liked to have a less formal place to eat that was nearby or not in the casino. The pool was hard to get to and you had to parade through the hotel lobby going back to your room. The room was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. "The hotel was close to the airport and provided shuttle service. The room appointments were high end including Dyson blow dryers. It had the most comfortable beds of our whole 10 day trip. We will definitely stay there any time we’re in Vancouver. They also have a small restaurant and cocktail lounge on premises. Pricy but convenient to grab a bite before a flight."

"Very pleasant stay overall. Decor is dated and the bed mattresses were too soft and creaky. Needs two room turnovers per day not just one at these room rates. Sound insulation between floors is very poor. Hotel complex is very well laid out and the view from our suite was excellent. Service throughout the property was Excellent too. The on property winery is a nice bonus. "

"I’m not sure how to rate this hotel over the other ones in the area because I always have stayed at the Prestige when I’m in Salmon Arm. I can always count on my stay to be good. The location is perfect. The view from the lake side is beautiful. There’s a walking path along the waterfront for anyone interested in birds. If you want to shop it’s just a short stroll to the downtown area. "
