"This was a nice hotel. the restaurant food and service was excellent, but a little pricey. It is not on the main Island of Venice, but rather on Murano which makes transportation inconvenient. Upon arrival in the area, there are very few signs as to where to park or how to get to Murano. The water transportation is confusing without specific instructions which the hotel didn't provide. "I enjoyed my stay at Splendid at Venice. It was probably the only hotel my family enjoyed in Italy! Super convenient to the main areas in Venice. Staff was super friendly and let us check in early. Also called taxis for us. The hotel also has its own water stop, which is great if you are taxing a water taxi to hotel. "

"We loved this property, from the moment you check in they do all that they can for you. They had people take our bags to our room while we enjoyed complementary afternoon tea.
