"Fabulous staff and lovely spa / pool with designated swimming times for children. On arrival you’d be forgiven for thinking the hotel looked a bit past its best from the outside and some communal areas are tired, but the reception / bar and restaurant are lovely, and we had a superior room above the spa which is clearly the more recent and refurbished section. "Clean & tidy pub with excellent rooms. Large room with double bed and shower room. Good dining in large restaurant and excellent breakfast. Would recommend the food. Staff attentive and fairly polite. Only criticism and its small, is dont serve tea in vacuum jugs at breakfast. Had to ask for tea in a teapot, which duly arrived hot and fresh. "Had a very enjoyable stay, the room was fantastic we had a suite with a huge bath tub, I am 6’ 3 so struggle to fit most tubs but this one had plenty of room for two! The trip was made even better by the lovely weather so we got full use of the hotel’s fabulous outdoor pool which was lovely so clean and warm too. All in all we had a great stay "
