"I called three weeks before my reservation to cancel and was told there was no reservation under my name. Whether it was Expedia or Motel 6 who did not register me I don't know. I only know that I am fortunate I had to cancel, rather than showing up for the busiest weekend of the year in Santa Fe only to be turned away! It is impossible to report this to Expedia. "Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive.
