"The hotel is dated and run down and has the overall feel of depression. The kitchenette is not stocked, you have to ask for plates etc and any pots, toaster, dish rack, it is limited what they have. There is no kettle, you will have to boil water on the stove.
The breakfast is just instant oats, coffee, tea that tastes like coffee, cereal bars and hot chocolate....not much.
It is maybe a 2 star hotel that definitely needs a face lift."

"Was told I’d have a ground floor room but when I checked in it was on the second floor. When we got to the room there was a big piece of broken glass on the table house keeping was actually in the room across from us she was excellent we examined the window it wasn’t broken and didn’t look like it had just been replaced. The floor didn’t seem to have any glass on it. Have no idea where it came from"

"Location is very convenient for our bi-annual convention visit to the York area.
That said, while the staff seems to be trying hard, it is hard to cover up a very well worn hotel.
Gouges in public hallways, patched walls, filthy carpets in common areas,
TV problems, etc
Just plain shabby"
