"The property is gorgeous and the staff is nice. Very local. But there is very very little detail about road conditions, how far it really is and how hard it is to get up there. If you are driving, it is a WAY past the town of Minca up a treacherous road. We were also assigned a cabin RIGHT next to their bar/night club which meant very loud music all afternoon and night. Not exactly the environment you are looking for going that far into the Sierra."

"So the pool, the property, restaurant, bathrooms and the staff were great. Theres free drinking water onsite. I spent a lot of time researching places to stay near Tayrona and this extra information might be of use for you when deciding where is best. Bohemia is pretty isolated along with the other hostels near it. It's about 2-3k kilometers off the main road, so if you want to buy your own food, go to a pharmacy or take the bus someplace you'll either need to walk 40minutes or pay for a motor...

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful hotel/hostel close to Tayrona. The private rooms have large floor to ceiling windows, and it was magical to watch the lightning and thunderstorms at night. Our room was very comfortable, and we loved the hammocks and outdoor seating as well. The restaurant served great food, and it was nice to have room service on extra stormy nights. Good WiFi to work or stream. The staff was kind and helpful. A few minutes walk from the beach, and five minute bus ride to the El Zaino entrance of Tayrona. We loved it so much we extended our stay. "
