"according to the owner, they have never been paid by Hotels.com, and therefore could not honour my booking. I had to pay cash or be turned away. my report to Hotels.com has received no response, I can only think this is a scam. either way, I won't use Hotels.com again, ever, and I dont care if it was only 20 dollars."
