"We have used B&B hotels many many times for 1 night stop overs on longer journeys. This time was no different, easy to find a couple of minutes off the motorway, easy safe car parking, friendly straight forward check in. A triple room is perfect for the 3 of us (2 adults and a 5 year old) . You get exactly what you pay for a basic, but clean room with plenty of hot water and good wi-fi. We didn't get breakfast this time but it's usually good and they even have some Gluten free choices for me....
