"This is a very well priced hotel which has a family fun feel with care and attention to the communal areas and outside spaces with plants and flowers and old shutters.
Lovely helpful staff.
The rooms are very clean and what you expect for the price.
No kettle is a shame but staff provided hot water on request.
Great for an overnight stay with good parking."

"I stayed here 35 years ago and enjoyed my stay. Today the hotel and restaurant are a shadow of its former self. Our room was small and poorly furnished, nowhere to hang clothes and only one small mirror in the shower room. It was difficult to move around. The shower itself gave out a stream of water and couldn’t be adjusted. It was extremely hot, the widow giving on to the road outside.
Though the restaurant food was fair the restaurant was poorly served by its bad mannered staff and had a large...
