"The room wasn’t very clean, the sheets, the covers, the carpet; the bathroom was definitely terrible. There are just two lights that don’t really light the room. The room smelled like pee."

"The staff was more than accommodating to check us in early and get our room ready for our visit. What we really appreciated about the room was that, for a double bed, it was in a separate room than the bathroom and living area. This allowed one of us to stay up late to watch tv while the other went to bed...and the early riser not to disturb the later riser with early morning wake ups. Not many hotels/motels offer this opportunity...and we were grateful for it!"

"The hot tub had broken before we checked in, BUT the guy worked until he fixed it! Thank you! We know the facility is old, but because of that…the pool/hot tub appeared grungy.
The employees we encountered were fabulous! We did not go there to fish, but it looks like that may be what most people are there for! The restaurant was really good. Great food!"

"It is right on Cass Lake, so it's a great resort. And the bar/restaurant on the ground floor of the lodge is great-- the staff is very friendly! Rooms in the lodge are as big as the photos show, so no problem with four in a room."
