"Property is beautiful, staff is very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were delicious! the infinity pool looks different on pictures definitely not an infinity pool. The view was breathtaking, worth the drive up the steep mountain, I highly recommend to check in early so you know where you’re going as the drive way is all rugged and ruff. I wasn’t advised that we needed a 4X4 or taller vehicle in order to go up, with out scraping the rocks or boulders. So I had to ask them to help me find a...

"The place is located next to the shore. It has a beach and cabanas next to it. The sound of the waves is very relaxing. We did horseback riding with the kids and they loved it. The view of the volcan Concepcion is unbeatable. Howling monkeys and others animals are present on site. We stayed in the family cabin and it had a view of the volcano and animals. It was very relaxing! Good restaurant, but the paraiso restaurant, at 15min walk on the beach, is something else!"

"This was hands down the worst experience I’ve had at a property . To start when we got there we were told no outside food or drink was allowed in the property because we need to buy there food and drinks like wth I can’t bring left overs weird then walking towards the room everything was turned off and it was a ghost town water slides off infants water park off rock climbing nothing no amenities were activity or able to be used I kept walking towards the room . Getting to the room AC didn’t work...

"I've been coming back for more than 20 years, even before the new owners upgraded everything. This hotel is the best value in San Juan Del Sur. Next to cathedral and main park, walk to everything. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and fully bilingual. The neighborhood while very close in is quiet and safe. Its just below Pelican Eyes at half the price. Rooms and beds light, airy and comfortable even at the lower price point. All town's amenities are a few steps away."

"The place is beautiful, and the sights are amazing. I especially loved the incredible view of the volcano. However, what I didn’t like was the bathroom. The electrical box is placed in a location where, every time we take a shower, the handle gives us an electric shock. This is very concerning and should be addressed for the safety of the guests. "The staff was very helpful. My Spanish is not good but they understood me fine. The manager/owner speaks very good English and is a real nice guy. He and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The place is only a few blocks from the beach and very affordable. No noisy bars just peace and quite. The place was clean and quite with great AC. You can use the kitchen to cook and they always have free drinking water available. Right next to a park and playground for kids and their prices can't be...

"Pros: - Well maintained grounds - Clean property - Polite, helpful staff - nice pool - very comfortable bedding - enjoyed watching the rabbits hop and play - blackout curtains on windows Cons: - Ordered pancakes for breakfast, got floppy waffles - Toilet would not always flush (told it was a lack of water in the tank, but the sprinklers were on in the grass) - bath towels were old and rough - rooms need to be aired out, bathroom smelled like stale water - tap spout in bathroom was loose and...

"There was no one at the reception. We wait almost 25 minutes for someone to show up. We look in every room, bathroom, we called while waiting there and still no one showed up. Then I call another number I found and a very angry sir answered questioning if I have a reservation and where I made it. He showed up and he said he didnf even know about it because expedia didnt notify him and he didnt have the room we booked so he gave us one for 6 people which is fine but there were not towels ready,...
