"Cute place, amazing location, a bit outdated but the tub in the bathroom was awesome to have after walking. Restaurant was ok, the staff seemed overwhelmed most of the time. Food was good. The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and kept turning on by itself all night so you had to keep the door shut, but the light still made noise when it would click on and off, super annoying for a light sleeper. It is directly on the Solway Firth which was so cool. It was also adjacent to a golf course and the early tee times were a nuisance because they are loud, again not great for light sleepers. Good for one or two nights."

"Clean, comfortable and warm room. Loved the step in bath in the corner of the bathroom. Breakfast plentiful but on the lukewarm side especially the scrambled eggs. This seems to be an ongoing issue as have stayed here at least twice before and breakfast each time has been on the cool side. Having said that, hope to stay here again when return to Carlisle."
